  • Founding of the sole proprietorship Dr. Collin Systems Development
  • Filing of the first patent for a modular system for calanders
  • Shipment of the first 3-roll calander
1974
  • Expansion of the product line to roll mills, presses, single-screw extruders and compounders
1975
  • Conversion of the sole proprietorship into Dr. Collin GmbH
1977
  • Relocation of the company from the center of Munich to Weissenfeld, east of Munich. This brought offices and the assembly operation together at the same site.

  • Shipment of the first testing roll mill

  • Relocation to newly built offices and assembly facility in Ebersberg
