This line consists of a casting unit with 3-layer coextrusion, followed by a heating, stretching and annealing module. Down-stream equipment includes a film accumu-lator and two-station winder.

The objective of this development was to size a line for development of specialty optical film products that would permit reliable scale-up of trial results to large-scale production equipment. With a throughput range of up to 300 kg/h, the objective of the development project was achieved. Furthermore, the line is well-suited for economical production of niche products.
